A Tremblant home sits empty most of the time. That is what sets it apart from the rest of our work, and it changes how the whole system is designed: the point isn’t comfort while you’re there, it’s knowing what happens while you’re away. We equip mountain homes in new construction and in renovation. We usually work alongside the architect and the designer, during the renovation rather than after it.

The heat comes up three hours before you arrive, the exterior lights turn on, the water is back under pressure. It starts from the car, or on its own based on the calendar. It’s the feature owners use the most.
It’s the real risk with a second home in winter, and the most expensive one. Leak detection that shuts off the main water supply automatically, low-temperature alerts, power outage alerts. The system sends a message and acts without waiting for someone to read it.
Service is uneven and sometimes knocked out by a storm. A system that depends entirely on the cloud becomes useless exactly when you need it most. Critical functions have to keep running without a connection and pick up where they left off when it comes back.
Cathedral ceilings, stone walls and big picture windows are beautiful, and hard on both sound and wireless. Both problems are solved at the planning stage, through placement and wiring, not by adding devices after the fact.
