Role
This individual will primarily work at client sites on our new projects to set up and secure computer networks and equipment (computers, phones, servers, NAS, printers) alongside technicians who install the products.
He/She will calibrate WiFi and perform “site surveys,” as well as advise clients on security enhancements and implement them at existing clients/projects.
REQUIRED:
Valid driving license
3 to 10 years of experience in IT or a VERY related field
MUST:
Have excellent knowledge of computer networks (Security, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, etc.),
Know and understand various communication protocols (TCP/UDP, multicast, RS232, SSH, Telnet, etc.),
Be able to perform network infrastructure design,
Have skills in installing physical devices (assembling computers, installing printers),
Be capable of calibrating WiFi networks and conducting “Site Surveys”,
Set up complex IT equipment racks neatly and meticulously while maintaining good speed,
Programming ability for various components (Cameras, IP phones, etc.),
Be able to complete a project from A to Z,
Skills in some of the following languages and formats: C, C++, JSON, LUA, XML, JavaScript, Powershell, HTML, Bash),
Know Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

Familiarity with Ubiquiti / Unifi products
SALARY:
Based on market and experience, between $50k and $70k
