Ancestral residence in the heart of Montreal’s Golden Square Mile, undergoing a complete renovation by La Shed. The challenge: to integrate modern technological systems without altering the heritage character of the house.

Lighting is at the heart of the project. Every control point integrates with La Shed’s materials and finishes, creating precise lighting atmospheres without altering the architectural reading of the spaces.
A complete network infrastructure, wired and Wi-Fi, was deployed throughout the residence. Entirely concealed, it ensures reliable and high-performance connectivity, supporting all connected systems without compromising the aesthetics.
Audio, video, and security systems follow the same discreet integration philosophy. Equipment is carefully positioned to deliver optimal performance while remaining invisible, leaving all the space to interior design.
Heritage building, specific constraints. The complete concealment of systems required meticulous planning and coordination from the plan phase with the contractor, the electrician, and La Shed.
Invisible speakers, concealed Wi-Fi antennas, and flush-mounted detectors illustrate this constant pursuit of balance between performance and discretion.
