The Câble&Son story
Câble&Son was born in 2002
The company is the result of a meeting between an architect and an electrician, and thus the fusion of these two areas of expertise. The company quickly prospered and grew considerably, expanding from one to two branches. In 2015, it bought out a competitor and is now positioned as an industry leader in home automation.
It is one of the oldest and largest home automation companies in Quebec, with two branches, 7 trucks on the road and some twenty employees.

Ghislain Lacasse
PRESIDENT AND CO-FOUNDER
In 2002, Ghislain and Marie Josée Huard founded Câble&Son. The logical outcome of a life dedicated to his passions. Câble&Son allows Ghislain to express his love of electronics, music and technology. Before setting up his own company, Ghislain also acquired highly relevant technological experience with major organizations such as Hydro-Québec and Vidéotron.
With brio, Ghislain has passed on his determination to make Câble&Son a leader in the world of home automation. Attentive to his customers’ needs and attentive to the smallest details, Ghislain is the kind of person who can pride himself on uncompromising work.
If he’s not meeting customers, you can find him at the gym, or on his boat, because for him, sailing with his family gives life its full meaning.
Marie-Josée Huard
VICE-PRESIDENT FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES
Responsible for Câble&Son’s well-being from the outset, Marie-Josée was the perfect person to take on the role of company director. Since 2002, when she founded Câble&Son with Ghislain, Marie-Josée has made a major contribution to the company’s growth. She is the iron fist in a velvet glove, overseeing the company’s finances, human resources and marketing.
With 25 years’ banking experience under her belt, this trained financial planner knows that sound financial management is a non-negotiable prerequisite for success. Being a woman of the field, it would be no surprise if you were to meet her when you visit one of our branches.
A very active person, there’s a good chance that if she’s not at work, she’s traveling or cooking for her family and grandchildren.
