Role

To be the primary person responsible for the execution of an installation and/or an integration project (home automation) from A to Z (cabling, installation, and programming)

RESPONSIBILITIES (80%)

Read and implement plans made by the design department and update them as necessary.

Expertise in structured and network cabling

Capable (when acting as Site Team Leader) of coordinating the installers/technicians representing C&S on a site.

Bridge the gap between the client and the project manager for any changes, challenges, and/or delays that might affect the execution and/or profitability of a project or installation.

Escalate technical and technological challenges to the Technical Director or another responsible party to ensure successful installations/projects.

Able to install equipment and physical materials quickly but impeccably.

Program all systems and equipment sold by C&S while adhering to the company’s quality and thoroughness standards. Sometimes this also involves programming equipment/materials already owned by the client and ensuring their integration.

Focus on satisfying each client while aiming to achieve the company’s objectives, both in terms of its mission and financial goals.

Document each client visit for client follow-up and billing purposes.

RELATED TASKS (20%)

Complete reports and use tracking software (deposits, ordering materials, and billing). Perform all necessary follow-ups with the administration department.

Meet with clients with or without a sales department representative to provide technical and/or logistical input.

Assist the estimation and design department during peak periods by producing estimates and proposals following requests from the sales department.

Support the technical director when necessary for product or technology research, either to meet a specific client need or simply to find an alternative or improve a process.

Participate in the “sign off” of each project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive knowledge of the following systems: BakPak, BlueBOLT, CCAQ central, Control4, Lutron, Crestron, Domotz, drivercentral, ihiji, OvrC, Unifi.

Accreditations: BSP, Control4, Crestron, and Lutron.

Valid driving license

Ability to work physically (heavy lifting)

Basic electrical knowledge

Basic security system knowledge
